Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Marketing & Communications team at Weber State University is looking for a Marketing & Analytics Coordinator to support and optimize the university's marketing and communications. The person in this role will design, implement and manage data analytics reporting across WSU's marketing initiatives. Duties include analyzing progress of marketing & communication campaigns, monitoring and adjusting to improve overall performance; streamlining production and handling marketing activities around provided research and data. Creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part of driving our marketing narrative, enhancing WSU's image, improving marketing and communication funnel effectiveness, and encouraging enrollment growth through effective campaign management.
Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organized with strong interpersonal skills, and must be an excellent writer and communicator. The Marketing & Analytics Coordinator should have a firm grasp of the different marketing touch points, drive highly effective digital campaigns, enhance user experience, and deliver on digital objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelors degree in communication/marketing or related field.
Work Experience: Two years of full-time experience in communication, public relations, advertising, marketing or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Asana, Google/Microsoft suites, web/social analytics.
• Demonstrates strong analytical & optimization skills and data-driven thinking.
• Experience and knowledge in digital marketing and the latest market trends.
• Marketing experience working with personas and targeted audiences.
• Experience in optimizing website pages and user funnels.

The annual salary for this position starts at $46,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
