Webber is Hiring a Webber - Deputy Project Manager - Infrastructure Management Near Bristol, FL

Position Summary

Assist Webber Infra Structure's Project Manager with ensuring all aspects of the contract are adhered and completed in a safe, timely, efficient, effective, and profitable manner. Identify growth opportunities, verify work required, interpret contractual documents, develop cost models, track in-house or sub-contractor work and coordinate with outside vendors, consultants and agencies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring services provided adhere with applicable Standards and in compliance with contractual, budgetary and safety requirements.
  • Assist Project Manager with evaluating inspection reports and condition assessments of bridges, box culverts and ancillary structures in accordance with contract requirements. Develop work plans, coordinate and track work to be performed.
  • Assist with procuring, managing, and monitoring project assets and materials.
  • Responsible for tracking and closing out structural work orders.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion and entry of work reporting.
  • Follows up with inspections, certifications, and repair of all fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Assists with investigating and reporting of all accidents/incidents.
  • Assist with resolution and recovery of all accident/incidents that result in 3rd party claims.
  • Responsible for completing and updating Emergency Management Plans.
  • Assist Quality Control Coordinator with ensuring work is completed correctly and documented.
  • Assist Project Manager with document management and submittals, including material certifications and testing.
  • Assist Project Manager with corporate initiatives and change directives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in safety, work methods, processes, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Safety comes first! Required to complete work in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and ArcGIS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) policies, procedures and specifications
  • Advanced knowledge of FDOT Structures' construction, maintenance, inspection, design, and contract administration practices, methods, testing and acceptable repair techniques.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Performance Management, Operational and Strategic Planning
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytics and financial management.
  • Ability to communicate accurately, professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to interpret FDOT construction/repair plans, work orders and bridge inspection reports.
  • Ability to identify what needs to be accomplished, to take initiative, and work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate conflict resolution.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (equivalent work experience will be taken into consideration)
  • Minimum three years' work experience in bridge construction and/or bridge maintenance industry. Previous supervisory experience is
  • Minimum three years' work experience in finance and budgeting.
  • Valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record (required)
  • Certified Bridge Inspector (preferred)

Work Environment:

The incumbent will split working time between office and field work.
