Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Construction Laborer for WEB Construction Co., Inc. based in Mankato, MN. As a Construction Laborer, your day-to-day tasks will ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Primary Requirements:

  • Forming and pouring of footings, foundation walls and slabs on grade.
  • Construction of concrete formwork.
  • Working with power tools and machinery on a daily basis.
  • Tying of rebar in formwork and slabs.
  • General carpentry items including framing, blocking, etc.
  • Finish carpentry items including millwork install, cabinets, doors, bathroom accessories, etc.
  • General construction labor including clean-up, material handling, demolition, etc.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of construction techniques
  • Experience in manual labor and construction-related tasks
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus

Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Experience operating construction machinery
  • Valid driver's license

Education
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
