Intelligence Systems Integrator, Quantico

Job purpose

The Intel Systems Integrator will work aboard MCB Quantico supporting the MAGTF Staff Training Program’s “MAGTF Operations Center Training Team” (MOCTT). This position is responsible for conducting tactical and operational intelligence systems planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels in support of MEF/MSC/TF Watch Floor training and exercise assessment. The position requires an individual with significant USMC Intelligence experience with a particular emphasis on Intelligence related computer/software systems and applications.

Duties and responsibilities

• Interpreting and documenting the military intelligence aspects of MAGTF/Joint operational plans and orders.
• Creating and editing intelligence documents, analyzing the intelligence process problem areas, participating in exercise planning events, conducting training, and recommending feasible solutions to improve intelligence cycle processes.
• Will conduct tactical and operational exercise planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for the MOCTT in support of MEF/MSC/TG Watch Floor training and assessments. The work-related areas of emphasis are:
  • Intelligence systems integration: provide intelligence Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) related C2 systems training for Joint, MAGTF Intelligence Operation Centers, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Cell (SARC), MAGTF Information Group (MIG) organizations, Joint Operations Center, and the MEF Operations Center.
  • Conduct research and provide analysis of future exercise concepts and plans.
  • Attend MSTP and MOCTT exercise/training event planning meetings.
  • Participate in MEF/MSC-level watch floor C2 training Working Groups.
  • Develop and recommend intelligence Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the MEF/MSC. This includes MEF/MSC/TF Watch Floor battle drills, MEF/MSC performance assessments, and MOCTT Watch Stander training for intelligence operations.
  • Observe, assess, and document MEF and MSC Combat Operation Center performance based on training and readiness standards.
  • Provide Intelligence C2 systems training to MEF/MSC COC watch standers.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Teams and Office.
• Possess detailed and functional knowledge of military Intelligence systems employment, integration and TTPs in support of Marine Corps, DoD Joint/Combined, combat operations and training exercises.
• Experience with the operational employment of software applications hosted in the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS), and Marine Corps program of record (POR) Intelligence systems such as Agile Client.

Education

• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Graduate of an Intermediate Level School such as Command and Staff College, Naval War College or the Armed Forces Staff College.

Military Operational Experience

• Operational level staff experience (Joint Task Force/MEF/MSC/TG/TF in planning, development, and execution of intelligence processes and procedures.
• Minimum three years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level with operational force employment experience. Direct participation in real world operations is desired.
• Minimum two years’ experience working with intelligence command and control systems planning and execution in support of intelligence operations.
