WEAVE, founded in 1978, is Sacramento’s primary provider of services supporting domestic and sexual violence survivors. The organization offers 24/7 support and response, an emergency safehouse program, counseling, legal services, and much more to some of the most vulnerable members of Sacramento’s many communities. The Role:
Under the general supervision of the Counseling Services Manager and the Chief Program Officer of Counseling and Education, the Associate Therapist will provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and therapeutic individual and group counseling services to children, youth, and adults at WEAVE and community partner locations throughout Sacramento County. Locations may include Family Resource Centers, K-12 school sites, social service agencies, WEAVE’s Midtown office, and various confidential WEAVE sites. Clinical supervision is provided by WEAVE. This counseling position is a training opportunity for associate therapists to earn hours towards licensure, as well as an opportunity for providing short-term therapeutic trauma work and utilizing trauma-informed therapeutic interventions. Once licensed, associate therapists may apply for a licensed therapist position, if available.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position starts at $26-$30.60 per hour. Bilingual (Spanish) oral and written skills are required and a 5% pay differential is available for the successful candidate who meets this criterion.
