Marketing Automation Specialist

Job Purpose/Role:
The Marketing Automation Specialist will drive demand generation efforts with an emphasis on lead generation and nurturing, sales enablement, and drip/engagement campaign management. This position will be responsible for:
  • Carrier specific marketing campaigns using Marketo, Marketo Sales Insight, Salesforce.com, BigMarker, and other marketing cloud tools.
  • Driving the execution of email campaigns to existing and prospective clients using marketing automation.
  • Maintaining data within the marketing automation system to include cleanliness, segmentation, and database organization.
  • Tracking all marketing automation results, measure campaign successes, and report metrics to produce end-to-end analytics for data-driven results.
  • Tracking leads associated with critical sales activity and translate to sales metrics within SF.com.
  • Maintaining system functionality and working closely with internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues, offer optimized solutions, and provide marketing automation best practices.
  • Ensuring all emails are mobile/browser optimized and teaming up with design to ensure optimization.
  • Ensuring we are abiding by firm rules at the financial institution level.
  • Serving as the SF.com Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Marketing Department.
  • Ensuring key email marketing metrics are maintained to keep @wealthvest.com off Blacklists.
Responsibilities:
  1. Execute and implement optimized marketing campaigns in Marketo and marketing campaign reporting in SF.com
  2. Implement SF.com development for WealthVest’s marketing department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through WealthVest’s sprint methodology.
  3. Ensure rules are built in SF.com and Marketo to ensure we are abiding by WealthVest policies, carrier policies, and financial institutions policies.
  4. Collaborate with sales and marketing to build nurture campaigns in Marketo and SF.com
  5. Work with the marketing team to suggest improvements on how content is laid out to improve lead results
  6. Manage and coordinate marketing webinars utilizing BigMarker
  7. Work with the website owner to maintain backend processes of the WealthVest.com web domain
  8. Responsible for the relationship management with the vendors assigned to the marketing automation team
  9. Adapt to different company objectives throughout the work week
  10. Oversee integrations to pipe key information into and out of our data systems
Key Requirements, Skills & Experience
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Motivated and professional with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work with demanding partners and internal stakeholders
  • Strong technical computer skills including coding in HTML
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Expert understanding of Marketo. Prefer one-year of experience working in Marketo.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously within deadlines
  • Ability to follow complex processes step-by-step
  • Experience working with a CRM system (SF.com is a plus)
  • College degree required
  • Strong working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite is a plus
