Description:
The Quality Control Supervisor impacts the ability of all customers to enjoy the benefits of fully utilizing all products by ensuring consistently high standards of performance are met through innovative and highly productive approaches taken in all assignments given. A list containing examples of those tasks (which may not include all) is found in “Essential & Minimum Required Functions” section of this document and has been provided to the employee upon employment. A list containing the marginal and distinct requirements to qualify for this position is contained in the “Quality Control Supervisor” section of this document. Employee is aware that all day-to-day activities are not formally documented as a procedure and are learned through verbal training from other experienced employees and managers.

Role:
The Quality Control Supervisor should first seek to follow their reporting line when questions, needs, or concerns must be addressed. However, if necessary, The Quality Control Supervisor can seek support and/or attention by bypassing anybody in this reporting line for any job-related questions and activities. The Quality Control Supervisor can seek support and/or attention from the Human Resources Manager regarding any HR matters if they are not comfortable speaking to a representative in the reporting line.

The QC Manager will be expected to spend his/her time in his/her office, the production area, and at both warehouses. The production area can often be noisy and can have powders visible in the air. The production area is a high traffic area and when working in the production area one should expect to be careful, respectful, and mindful of others who are completing their duties. Both warehouse areas can often be noisy, with forklifts constantly moving through the aisles.
