PCA Personal Care Assistant

PCA Personal Care Assistant Job Description:
As a PCA Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing basic personal care and services to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, is responsible, patient and caring, and is able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. Our caregivers are the backbone of a long-term care facility by providing assistance and support to our residents in their daily activities.

Duties:
·Prepare meals according to the chef in accordance with the portion of the menu per personal care instructions of the residents.
·Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks as directed by the residents’ service manager.
·Maintain a clean and orderly resident environment consistent with policy and procedure standards.
·Perform other duties as assigned by the service manager, department manager, and/or facility manager.

Qualifications:
·High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Training available in skilled care nursing or related field.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
