Duties:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Help clients with activities that promote physical and mental stimulation.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to cook and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Knowledge of catheter care and ability to provide assistance if needed.
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately.
- Familiarity with home care and senior care practices.
- Experience with tube feeding is a plus.
- Knowledge of assisted living procedures and protocols.
