Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, financial statement preparation, and budgeting. The role involves overseeing financial activities, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Work in the restaurant industry or the hospitality industry is a plus!
Duties:
-Generate sales tax and tax return documents.
- Prepare and analyze P&L financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform payroll processing and reconciliation
- Utilize Quicken or similar software for financial data management
- Assist in financial report writing for internal and external stakeholders
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Proven experience in financial acumen and analysis
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and regulations
- Proficiency in Quicken or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes
- Experience in payroll management and reconciliation
- Ability to handle accounts receivable efficiently
