We Care HCC is Hiring a RN Unit Manager Near Spencerport, NY

Wedgewood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to join our team of professional caregivers. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of a 28 bed facility unit. Your team will consist of your DON, FT LPN, and nursing assistants. Together we care for our residents, giving them a home away from home. 

This position is Monday-Friday with a weekend on call rotation. 

Componsation for this position is very competative with benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to residents
  • Establish resident treatment plans and care plans
  • Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care
  • Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate resident medical records
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their family members

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current NY state RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred
  • Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and guidelines
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR Certified
