WeCare at Wesley Gardens is actively seeking a motivated Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse for our community in Rochester, NY.Our Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse is an integral part of the care team that helps enhance the lives of our residence.

Job Description:

·Implement and develop policies related to infection prevention.

·Remain current with changes in regulations locally, state, and federal.

·Maintain records of all current antibiotic use, infections, and resident/employee vaccinations.

·Communicate with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team on facility quality metrics.

·Participate in quality assurance projects.

·Monitor and report communicable diseases to Department of Health.

·Monitor and preform employee performance evaluations related to infection control practices.

·Maintain communication with laboratory related to Biogram/Antibiogram reports at a minimum monthly.

·Report occupational exposer to infectious material.

Shift:

Full - Time

Candidate Qualifications:

·Graduate of approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program.

·Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
