Summary: Large Courier company located in the Troy area is recruiting for an experienced dispatcher.

The individual selected will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work on their own.

Shift: Full-Time( Day shift) Saturday 8am-6pm-Sunday 6am-6pm-Monday 9am-6pm Tuesday 9am-6pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NIN is seeking a full-time afternoon dispatcher. The ideal candidate must be able to answer phones and work in a fast paced environment. You must be able to possess excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and work well with others. Job duties will include but not limited to; obtaining detail dispatch specifications from customers, process and dispatch outbound orders to ensure timely, accurate delivery, perform load planning, create routes, monitor and dispatch drivers. Must be able to work rotating holidays and overtime shifts when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Dispatching Experience
• Knowledge/experience using Microsoft office software (Excel, Word)
• Be able to thrive in a busy, multi-task oriented environment
• Excellent written, organizational and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read maps and prepare routing
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
• E Courier (CMS & DMS) Experience a Plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 3 years (Required)
• Customer service: 3 years (Required)
• Clerical: 3 years (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
