1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college wtih a science or medical field major and a minimum of one year Grossing Technician experience (internal candidates will require a mininum of one year experience in WDL's Anatomic Pathology lab). 
2. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
3. Basic computer knowledge and clerical skills including telephones, email, pagers, copy and fax machines.
4. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, in both team settings and independently.
5. High level of accuracy in reading, writing, proofreading, editing, spelling, and punctuation.
6. Ability to use good judgment, take initiative, and adapt to changes in work assignments.
