Golf Course Seasonal Maintenance Worker: This position must be available to start work in early May and work through at least the end of August. Working a variable schedule, anywhere from 20-40 per week. Work half shifts (4 hours) every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Note: hours per week and open and close date may be dependent on weather.

Perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance of the golf course including but not limited to: tee service, backpack blowing, divots, range maintenance, rolling, rough mowing, and assisting in various other tasks.

Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.

Must be able to follow instructions, be to work on time, follow safety protocols as instructed by supervisor, and follow all other polices and procedures in the WCC Employee Handbook, as well as departmental polices and procedures communicated by supervisor(s).

Wage range: $17/hour

Typical job functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Have ability to work with all WCC Staff

· Ability to follow oral and written directions

· Abide by rules and standards set within Wayzata Country Club Handbook

· Comply with all safety standards set by WCC Management

· Perform various labor tasks as needed throughout the golf course, grounds, and clubhouse

· Lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly

· Must be able to walk several miles at a brisk pace

· Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment free from harassment

· Immediately report any incident regarding employee safety or conduct to a supervisor

· Be able to correctly operate equipment that you have been properly trained on in an effective and safe manner

· Work outside in the continuously changing Minnesota weather
