Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is Hiring a Program Director - Young Adult Program - Sign on Bonus Near Framingham, MA

Program Director – Young Adult ProgramFraminghamWe are currently searching for a talented professional for the position of Program Director at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network. The dynamic Program Director will be ready to lead a great team that works creatively and passionately to improve the lives of youth. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role and experience working with youth in a residential setting preferred. The Program Director is skilled in communication effectively verbally and in writing. Experience in therapeutic communication techniques, conflict resolution, staff training and hiring practices needed. Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year depending on experience sign-on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part-time). What You Will Do:Program Director will be responsible for all aspects of the overall operations of their program.Responsible for staff development, staffing (all hiring and terminations), staff scheduling, on-call scheduling, ongoing training and performance. Maintains licensing compliance, financial management, quality management, and the development of strong collateral connections with the funding sources.This position ensures compliance with Rehab Options, COA, DCF, HUD, and MAP regulations.This position is responsible for attending to all risk management issues and participate in the on-call rotation for the program.The Program Director ensures that all budgeted expectations are met and is responsible for program productivity and expectations.This position should have knowledge of the Department of Children and Families, budgeting, and fiscal management.Participate in monthly fiscal and Agency PD meetings.Responsible for all program compliance (safety forms, monitoring, IR's, HR paperwork, training) for the agency and applicable licensure. Competencies/Traits of Our Superstars:Demonstrates an ability to multitask and ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrates high quality writing skills as evidenced by good documentation. Demonstrates the ability to teach, mentor, and coach others (i.e. able to provide constructive feedback to employees, provide thoughtful and consistent supervision). Demonstrates leadership skills in meetings (i.e. redirecting appropriately, maintaining a strong presence, etc.). Demonstrates ability to work with others (i.e. strong teamwork, can collaborate and coordinate care with other staff). Demonstrates ability to work independently (i.e. can self-direct on projects, able to work in solitude, can propose project solutions). Demonstrates ability to be understanding and compassionate (i.e. ability to connect with peers and supervisees and provide a supportive relationship). Demonstrates belief in the Agency mission and values. Demonstrates strong knowledge of programming. Demonstrates the ability to assess and manage risk (i.e. comfortable handling unpredictable situations, must be effective at directing others in a crisis including debriefing with staff). Demonstrates the ability to professionally develop others (i.e. direct reports have been promoted within the agency, have leadership roles, and can guide staff to achieve optimal results etc.). Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree. At least 5 years of experience in residential settings. We Will Train You in: Motivational Interviewing, Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC) and Courageous Conversations.
