Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is Hiring a Maintenance Technician - Sign on Bonus Near Framingham, MA

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN The Maintenance Technician performs both scheduled and as-needed maintenance to all programs at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network. We are looking for someone who enjoys different projects, interactions with many people and helping solve problems or prevent problems with knowledge of safety regulations. This person will have some on call responsibilities for the site afterhours. Salary Range: $26.00 to $30.00/hour sign on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro rated for part-time).What You Will Do: Receive daily CMMS generated Work Requests from Property Manager. Receive daily special instructions not on CMMS tickets. Complete these tasks. Ability to follow instructions and to communicate effectively with Property Manager Attend trainings as needed Complete paperwork in a timely and legible manner Must know and adhere to boundaries with kids and staff Ability to take a hands -on approach to completing work requests. Operate a CMMS for all work orders. Review systems including fire alarm, security, grounds/snow removal under direction of Property Manager. Participate in training program for management level within Property Management. Special responsibility to potentially manage building/vehicle inspections, inventory control, or other needs. May be asked to meet with contractors or service technicians as needed. Must be proactive in approach to maintenance needs; Be able to see and remedy potential hazards/needs Drive agency vehicle to pick up supplies as needed Manage receipts from purchases Respond to after-hours emergency calls and/or delegate emergency calls. Will provide snow removal needs including plowing, use of snow blower/shoveling as needed. Competencies and Strengths of Our Superstars: Strong technical skills and knowledge with all building systems Able to manage multiple projects, service requests, and needs of the agency simultaneously. Strong computer skills Must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills. Must possess strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building Must possess strong technical knowledge regarding electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical. Understand the boundaries of the job relating to the children and families that we provide services for.Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years experience in a related field; Valid driver's license; CDL license preferred.
