Clinical Supervisor In Home Based Therapeutic Care - WalthamSalary Range: $75,000.00 /year $5,000.00 sign on bonus (paid in 5 months after employee completes 30 days of work/ pro-rated for Part-time)Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is seeking a dynamic, innovative Clinical Supervisor to join our In Home Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) Program. As part of this intensive, community-based program serving children, adolescents, and families referred by the Department of Mental Health, you will work alongside the Program Director to oversee all program aspects. The ideal candidate will provide clinical supervision to program staff and interns, while also delivering direct care to a small caseload of youth and families.What You Will Do:Provide weekly supervision to Clinicians, Outreach staff, Family Partner, Occupational Therapist, Young Adult Peer Mentor, Interns, and other program staff.Participate in In Home Based Therapeutic Care family team meetings.Conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans/Individualized Action Plans.Facilitate/co-facilitate staff meetings and coordinate training programs.Provide emergency coverage to clients when on call and back-up to clinicians who are on-call. Provide advocacy and care coordination with collaterals. Attend necessary collateral meetings and participate in in-service trainings and ongoing educational opportunities.Review and approve clinical documentation ensuring compliance with Rehab Options requirements.Provide direct clinical services to clients, including in-home individual, couple, and family therapy, behavior management, and crisis interventionParticipate in agency-wide initiatives to assure and improve clinical quality, to uphold Wayside's mission and values in anti-racist work. Assist in developing continuity of service between other services within Wayside and among collateral providers.Perform other functions as assigned by the Program Director.Competencies/Traits of Our Superstars: Demonstrates high-quality customer service and belief in the Agency’s mission and values.Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Ability to multi-task through assessing, managing, and adapting to competing priorities.Broad knowledge of mental health/illnesses, treatment modalities, and theory.Knowledge of how to navigate and access behavioral health services and systems, including DMH and other social service resources.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of child welfare, behavior management, adolescent development, parenting issues, individual/family therapy, DSM-V, trauma-informed care, and psychopharmacology.Knowledge of reflective supervision.Proven ability to manage clinical issues.Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another related human services field.Independent licensure required.Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.Minimum of three (3) years experience in direct service with children, adolescents, and families.Current valid MA driver’s license and reliable car.We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice; Substance Use Intervention; Risk and Safety Assessment.At Wayside, you can expect to be part of an inclusive, innovative, and equity- focused community that approaches client care as a matter of social justice.
