Wayside Women's Treatment Center is seeking a Recovery Advocate.
Shift: 6:30AM- 2:30PM MONDAY - FRIDAY
Wayside Women's Treatment Center provides residential substance use disorder and mental health treatment services for women who face the greatest challenges of achieving long-term sobriety. Residential treatment includes addressing substance use and mental health disorders and wraparound services including housing, health, employment, and parenting. What you will do:
· Be available to clients seeking guidance or support, as well as responding appropriately to identify needs.
· Supervise client activities.
· Respond to emergencies and effectively manage crisis.
· Record pertinent client data.
· Monitor health needs of clients and supervise clients in self-administration of prescribed medication.
· Assist with tasks associated with clients arriving and leaving Wayside.
· Collect urine specimens for drug screens.
· Complete required paperwork for admissions and discharges
Compensation:
$16.50 – $19.50 per hour DOQ.
Additional $2 per hour for working between the hours of 5:30pm-9:30pm.
Additional $4 per hour for working between the hours of 9:30p-7:30a (shift must start before 4a to qualify). NOTE: CNA ADDITONAL $1.00 per hour; TMA ADDITIONAL $2.00 per hour Schedule/Hours: 6:30AM- 2:30PM Sound like a good fit? A few requirements include:
· High school diploma/GED required.
· 18 years or older
· Adult and child CPR – training provided if needed.
· Microsoft office/outlook experience
· Must be able to maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal guidelines and HIPAA requirements.
· Must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study.
· Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
· Free of problematic substance-use for at least 1 year preceding employment.
· Must value diversity and able to relate and enjoy working with women and children of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
Preferred qualifications:
· Knowledge and/or experience in the field of substance use disorder and/or mental health.
