Manager/Bookkeeper/Generalist(reports to the President)
Monday-Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am 2:00pm
This position is for a small business/office, covering three separate businesses, all commonly owned, which would require a person who can handle a myriad of responsibilities. In addition to multi-tasking, this individual would also share the following personality traits and skill sets.
1. Exhibit common sense
2. Someone who is equally at home working with the employees on the shop floor as well as being
able to professionally greet people both on the phone and in person.
3. Someone bright enough to learn industry jargon to be able to answer questions on the phone.
4. Someone with a positive outlook
5. Someone who is organized, efficient, and accurate.
6. Someone who doesnt mind lending a hand when needed and who can connect the dots between office, shop, and customer.
7. Provide hands on for all accounting functions, including invoicing, quickbooks, collections.
8. Answer the phone, perform routine filing
9. Handle HR functions such as attendance, insurance, vacation schedules
10. Assist the President when requested.
11. Reconcile bank statements to checkbook and general ledger on a monthly basis.
12. Someone who comes to work every day, on time, ready to give the job their full attention.
13. Input payroll, enter payroll reports from outside service into quickbooks.
14. Prepare shipping documents, arrange paperwork for outside services such as painting, freight
