WLI currently has a position available for: Job Description: Provide subject matter expertise, enterprise-level analyses in holistic survivability, sensor technology, aviation program planning, survivability operations, and review recommendations to senior PM decision makers regarding survivability capability requirements for programs within the Fixed Wing (FW) PM portfolio. Should be able to conduct and review studies and recommendations in threat analyses, electronic warfare, countermeasures, and counter-countermeasures. Make recommendations on compatibility of PM FW survivability discussions within the context of the PEO AVN portfolio, particularly in regard to the FW Ecosystem. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering field, Master's preferred
15 years minimum of relevant experience (required) (11 years with Masters) on aircraft survivability requirements
Familiarity with survivability system architectures
Technical expertise in aviation platform electronic disciplines to include antennas, multi-mode millimeter wave radar, targeting systems, command and control interface, electronic warfare systems, integrated systems architecture, target acquisition
Technical expertise to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on aviation electro-optical systems, IR (SW, MW, LW) sensor systems, UV sensor systems, RF weapons and detection systems.
Required Skills: Ability to develop and manage execution of ASE requirements
Ability to evaluate signatures across the Electromagnetic (EM) spectrum to evaluate the effectiveness of blue and red threats, countermeasures, and counter-countermeasures
Ability to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on soft-kill/mission-kill and hard-kill/kinetic-kill threats, countermeasures, and counter-countermeasures
Ability to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on the integration and operation of offboard survivability systems with PM FW systems
Ability to lead holistic survivability IPTs/working group and represent FW at survivability meetings with external stakeholders to include, but not limited to, PEO, FW Users and User Reps, Army G2, and Other Services
