Operate Coremaker to ensure the correct manufacturing process is followed.
You Will
  • Inspect completed cores for visual defects
  • File cores as needed. Pack and Label completed cores
  • Perform routine operational maintenance on the machine
  • Report mechanical malfunctions and/or quality issues to maintenance and/or the supervisor
  • Responsible for routine cleaning of machinery
  • Transport finished product to storage area
  • Cross train from Redford to Shalco and Shalco to Redford machines
  • Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
You Have
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements(The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. This role consists of extended periods of sitting, standing, stooping and walking and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. This position requires the ability to move throughout the plant, office areas, and up and down stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, 80 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position also required the ability to follow safety procedures including: PPE (Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes), Potential Hazards - Bending and Ergonomics - Follow correct lifting procedures.
