Watson Memorial Home is seeking a Full-Time 3rd shift LPN/Med Tech for our 25 bed all women's Personal Care Home. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as nursing supervisor during shift by overseeing work completed by Direct Care Staff and intervenes/mentors for increased quality and efficiency
• Coordinates all nursing services
• Administers controlled medication
• Provides routine care, observes residents’ health, assists the Director of Nursing and the Doctor
• Communicates instructions to residents regarding medications, doctor’s orders, and basic care needs
• Maintains health records
• Maintains confidentiality in relation to all residents, healthcare staff and documentation

Qualified candidates must:

• Present with a positive attitude
• Possess an excellent rapport with the elderly demonstrating patience, kindness, and compassion
• Provide exceptional personal care services
• Be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Be willing to submit to a pre-employment physical

Education:

• Current Pennsylvania Practical Nursing Licensure
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
