Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with diaper changes and potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and meet individual child's needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Understanding of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in childcare or related field is preferred
-ECE college units or an associates degree or higher preferred
