The Role

The Digital Designer will support end-to-end creative design and execution for branded digital projects across Website, Emails, Social, and Client Presentations. Responsibilities include designing through a forward-thinking lens and creating digital content for ongoing marketing campaigns and product launches, supporting Waterworks presence in the digital space, and executing comps/ ideas/mocks for weekly status updates. Creative production responsibilities include bringing stories to life for web, email and social under the supervision of the Senior Designer, Print and Digital.

The Digital Designer must show initiative and ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines. Candidate should be savvy in executing website wireframes, managing digital brand guidelines, understand the principles of strong UX/UI, short-form video editing, have a mobile-first approach as well as motion work in GIF's/video formats. The Digital Designer will work with the creative team to help translate a campaign or product launch across multiple brand platforms. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to jump in, pick up a project and carry it through to go live phase for every digital deliverable.

Primary Responsibilities

Ensure that all deliverables support the Waterworks brand vision and marketing programs.
Help drive the creative execution of user experience deliverables by collaborating with cross-functional teams and developers.
Partner with Digital Team & Developers to execute creative hand-off and updates.
Conceptualize, design and execute best-in-class digital assets for email, web, digital marketing ads and social media.
Develop conceptual web features, wireframes, and visual mock-ups for presentation purposes.
Help create video content for web and social channels that is on-brand and engaging.
Work closely with Digital and Brand Marketing on execution of branded digital assets.
Layout digital client presentations, in partnership with the Senior Designer, to exacting brand standards

Requirements

2-3 years in-house brand or agency.
Up to date on current web design trends and digital experiences with a portfolio to back it up.
An understanding and appreciation for brand marketing.
Motion graphics, storyboarding, animation and video editing a plus.
Adobe Creative Suite and Figma superstar.
Adept on all social media platforms.
Solid knowledge of current UX/UI & HTML/CSS methodologies.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
