Waterville Elementary has a .2 FTE Art Teacher opening for the start of the 2024-25 school year. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:*Licensed in Vermont for K-6 Art*Passion for working with elementary aged students*Strong background in planning, implementing and assessing a standards based curriculum*knowledge of the National Core Arts Standards and The Vermont Core Teaching Standards*Ability to connect with and motivate students*Collaborative approach to working with other staff members to support students of all abilities in art, especially special educators and core team teachers*Ability to effectively integrate 21st century technology into the art classroom*Flexibility*Strong leadership and communication skills
