Registered Nurses at Sumner, provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Reports to: Director - Pulmonary Care and GI/GU Units

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Minimum EducationAssociate's degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required

Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in Nursing - Preferred

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required

Required SkillsCertifications:American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) - Required upon hireAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Required within 12 months of hire

Required SkillsLicenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure - Required
