Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Department Manager/Supervisor the Respiratory Therapist must be able to perform all duties and functions of the Respiratory Care Department assigned to him/her. The Respiratory Therapist will be accountable, responsible, and capable of serving as a resource of knowledge, planning, managing, coordinating, and evaluating Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients' respiratory needs and treatments to facilitate optimal outcomes for a select group of patients/patrons. In collaboration with physician, Nurse Manager, and other members of the health care team to determine the appropriateness of therapy and treatment modalities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Graduate of an approved American Medical Association School of Respiratory Therapy. Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, Current BLS certification, Current PA RCP License. Must attain Certified Respiratory Therapist credential 6 months within date of hire.

Preferred: Associate / bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or health Related Profession. One Year Respiratory Care experience. Registered Respiratory Therapist ACLS
