Position Summary:

Central Carolina in Sanford, NC. is seeking a Full Time Mid Shift Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. The CNA will:

Provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I

Required Certifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant I
• BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Essential Functions:

*Monitor vital signs/blood sugars

*Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition

*Measure and document input/output and weights

*Assist nurse as needed

*Answer call lights

*Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge

*Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient

*Distribute drinks and/or snacks

*Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

*Adhere to CCH attendance policy

*All other duties as assigned
