Position Outline: As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for two main areas: developing and maintaining our estimating capabilities within our project management software and writing detailed project specifications and pricing. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every estimate is precise and every material is meticulously managed.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Analysis: Evaluate project plans, specifications, and scope to prepare accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects.
Material and Labor Costs: Calculate material, labor, and subcontractor costs, considering market trends and project requirements.
Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids for prospective clients and present proposals effectively.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for additional projects.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless project handoff.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Estimating Expertise: Proven experience managing $20 million- $40 million a year in construction estimating, including the ability to prepare accurate cost estimates. (Hardscape, or Commercial experience preferred)
Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in estimating and administrative tasks.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Keyboarding.
