PositionDue to continuing growth in our business, we have an opening for a CAD drafter/designer. This position will provide CAD and drafting support for all phases of our product development process, including:
- Support our engineering team to design new products and make improvements to existing products
- Using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, update existing and create new drawings and models of products and components.
- Assist with creating prototypes and 3D models, product testing and validation
- Support the engineering change process by creating engineering change orders, maintaining drawing files, and updating bills of material
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering curriculum or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of related experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office products
- Revit knowledge is a plus. Training will be provided for the right candidate as part of our development program
- Strong organizational and communication skills
