Waterlefe Golf Club is seeking an assistant professional to promote and enhance our 5-star golf course and facility. Waterlefe Golf Club is completing a golf course and building renovation and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to complement our facility.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with current members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.
• Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction, membership retention, and membership activities.
• Meet and greet members, guests and outside players to golf club.
• Oversee, schedule and train outside staff and along with administer policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing an instruction and lesson platform for members and guests.
• Assist in monthly inventory reporting.
• Manage existing cart fleet and all cart management programs.
• Tangible knowledge of POS system EZ links-EZ Suite systems along with Golf Genius tournament program.
• Organization and checking for all daily play.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
• Properly execute daily opening or closing procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability.

• Ability to assist in the organization and planning of events.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences.

• Experience coaching and/or playing golf.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Level 1 or 2 PGM or PGA program experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Golf Operations.
• Experience with POS and golf tournament software.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 50lbs.
• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required.
