Job Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing Events Leader to spearhead our Events Team. This position is more than just organizing events; it's about creating experiences that resonate with attendees. You’ll work closely with the marketing communications, product marketing, and sales teams to plan, execute, and evaluate the success of all company events. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the ideal candidate is incredibly organized, detail oriented, and has extensive experience planning multiple events simultaneously that meet or exceed event goals within budget.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, planning, and project management for multiple tradeshows, sales meetings, customer trips, and company events for a variety of target audiences simultaneously.
  • Help define, manage and report on highly visible and detailed budgets.
  • Implement best practices and maintain high standards to ensure exceptional customer experiences at all events.
  • Lead meetings and foster collaboration with stakeholders to define and achieve all event goals.
  • Track and report on project timelines, budgets, and post-event results.
  • Research and evaluate venues, conduct site inspections, and make recommendations to leadership regarding site selection.
  • Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships.
  • Oversee staffing and manage onsite event logistics; includes travel to most events as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience with track record of successfully planning and executing events that range from six-figure budgets with hundreds of attendees to small reward trips with just a few of our most valued customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or public relations (or equivalent experience and education).
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a laser focus on detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong familiarity with technology and software platforms – particularly Excel and Salesforce.
  • Service oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations.
