Now Hiring EXPERIENCED and active servers for our newly renovated restaurant in busy Lake George Village. The Lighthouse Grill overlooks beautiful Lake George and is the gem of Waterfront Hospitality. We are hiring 3-6 servers to service our 250 seat restaurant.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• - Welcome and greet guests as soon as they are sat
• - Memorize the menu along with recommendations and accommodations
• - Become knowledgeable on all businesses included in Waterfront Hospitality: Cruises, boat rentals, parasailing and Saratoga rental properties
• - Communicate with kitchen staff for prompt and correct orders
• - Make suggestions based of customer preferences
• - Help set up tables larger groups or special accommodations
• - Deliver checks and collect payments
• - Upsell when appropriate: suggest add ons or upgrades
• - Learn and accurately use the pos system to put in orders and cash out customers
• - Correctly handle cash and payment methods
• - Keep stations stocked and cleaned
• - Help to keep restaurant up to health and safety standards
• - Talk to a manager when there are issues out of your control
• - Keep a positive attitude while also working in a fast pace environment
• - Keep up with side work before, after and during your shift: cleaning, stocking and preparing the restaurant for the next shift
• - Complete opening/ closing tasks as expected
• - Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
• - Inform guests about any upcoming events within Waterfront Hospitality
• -2 years of serving experience REQUIRED

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $75.00 - $500.00 per day

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Weekends as needed
