Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. • The location is in Fort Defiance, Arizona
• The working schedule for this role is 12 hour shifts of days or nights, no guaranteed hours. Must be flexible, includes days, nights, weekends and holidays
• The RN will be working in and floating to multiple units
• The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday requirements are as needed
• Guaranteed hours:
• EMR used: RPMS
• The pay: $84.06 Hourly ($2,196.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $3,026.00 Weekly = $12,104.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non-intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
