Water & Sports Physical Therapy is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant Near San Diego, CA

Looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and caring Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work at Water & Sports Physical Therapy, Inc. (WSPT) This job is meant for someone who is interested in developing their skills to be the best therapist they can be!

***ACCEPTING CANDIDATES THAT CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE SAN DIEGO METRO AREA ONLY***

  • New grads welcome
  • Pay $29.00 - $35.00 per hour base (not including weekly bonus)
  • Additional weekly productivity bonuses are $1 - $4 per hour, in addition to hourly salary (e.g. base hourly pay $35/hour, can make up to $39/hour)
  • PT family owned and operated since 1999
  • Perfect place for new grads who want to become experts in the Orthopedic field.
  • PTA will be teamed up directly with a Physical Therapist to promote cohesive side-by-side treatments. The PT is not just giving the PTA a full patient load. Instead, the PTA is working together with the PT to promote learning and interaction with each patient that comes in.
  • 1 patient per hour on average. Maximum 1.5 patients per hour on avg per therapist.

WSPT will provide:

  • Bi-weekly mentorship training in high-level manual therapy techniques, aquatic therapy, and advanced exercise progression
  • Post graduate in-house certification through NOMPTI (Neuro Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute)
  • Monthly on-site practical examination.
  • $100 per certified body part (e.g. NOMPTI Certified Cervical Spine Specialist)
  • WSPT pays you to learn. Make up to $1,500 when going through NOMPTI certifications
  • WSPT will train and pay for the APTA Advanced Proficiency Pathway in Orthopedics (APP) which includes all costs for mentorship, coursework, and APTA membership.
  • Latest Technology saves you time and stress: WSPT is one of the few clinics in the country that has invested into a dictation software for our therapists. This saves you time and effort, allowing you to focus more on what you do best – helping patients feel better and achieve their goals. This expense is a commitment to your well-being, recognizing the importance of work/life balance and overall job satisfaction. The latest technology we have implemented will enable you to complete your notes and evaluations in a fraction of the time using mobile dictation with your phone. Daily notes now take only 1-2 minutes
  • 3D infrared analysis: We have developed an amazing tool that scans your patients movements for ROM deficits and finds compensations patterns.   • Onsite continuing education course hosting. Free attendance for PTAs. Courses include but not limited to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Institute of Physical Art (IPA), Vestibular Certification, Herman and Wallace Pelvic floor Certification, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Neurodynamics, Hyperkinetics, Stick mobility
