Position: Water Treatment Specialist
Wage: $20/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, this position will be assisting with the installation of water treatment systems and servicing water treatment systems already installed in customers’ homes. The employee in this position will be responsible for ensuring their van is stocked with all necessary tools, parts, and supplies needed for the day’s assigned jobs. Workload and assigned jobs will vary day to day depending upon customer demand. This position requires the individual to be a self-starter and motivated to learn and study the training material for the job. The individual in this position must keep up to date on new technologies of water treatment systems offered by Water Doctor of Washington and on current installation standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Service previously installed water treatment systems in customers’ homes including changing filters and adding mixed chemicals and salt.

• Assist in installing water treatment system(s) in customer’s home, which may include crawling under the house or in other tight spaces.

• Request or order all necessary parts for each day’s assigned jobs in the Basecamp group chat.

• Verify customer details, including current system specifications prior to leaving the warehouse for the day’s assigned jobs.

• Maintain a clean and organized van inside and out.

• Maintain correct and complete paperwork for each job and ensure it is turned in on time.

• Assist with maintenance and upkeep in the warehouse, including cleaning tanks, sweeping, and organizing supplies.

• Maintains proper hygiene and dress code standards in accordance with HR Policy 210 – Employee Conduct.

• Assumes other duties as assigned during times of declared emergency or other unique, unusual, or unexpected circumstances.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a high school graduate and have demonstrated experience with the skills necessary to complete the functions of this position. Maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license in good standing.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
