The Warehouse Agent is responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of inbound receipt, storage, and outbound shipping coordination. Our warehouse operations provide world class service by ensuring that products are properly received, selected, and delivered in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations.

The starting pay for this position is expected to be $22 to $23 per hour. Exact compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and location.

Required shift: 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Warehouse Agent I Job Duties

• Receives and ships goods by adhering to established shipping and receiving processes.
• Signs for deliveries and visually inspects to ensure products are received in good condition. Escalates any discrepancies
• Ensures the goods entering the warehouse are properly identified, labeled, and counted.
• Ship outbound orders according to order requirements
• Participates in cycle counting and physical inventories.
• Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and free from safety hazards.
• Complies with all safety and security measures, including TSA, OSHA and hazmat rules.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic use of computer systems and applications (e.g. MS Office, TMS/WMS) as trained/required.
• Able to use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Must be forklift certified or obtain certification with the first 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of common safety and security measures to ensure warehouse/ team safety and compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
• Shows up on time, follows instructions, acknowledges and corrects mistakes.
• Meets the needs of customers through positive interactions.
• Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
• Able to receive work instruction in both written and oral formats. Written and verbal communication is completed in a clear and organized manner.
• Seeks and incorporates feedback. Uses good judgment and solves problems within assigned scope of responsibility.
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency; is detail oriented and conducts work with minimal errors. Meets productivity goals set by management.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma and some warehouse experience preferred

Physical Requirement

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s essential functions require the following physical demands: carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, crouching, significant finger dexterity, and some climbing. Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds. The job is performed in a warehouse setting with temperature variations and requires the use of safety shoes and high visibility clothing.
