Waste Connections is Hiring a Yard Laborer Near San Luis Obispo, CA
San Luis Hauling, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a full-time Yard Laborer to join our team in San Luis Obispo, CA!
This is a full-time, long-term position with full benefits!
The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-22/hour.
This is an outdoor, labor-intensive position that is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Pressure-washing containers and equipment
- Container assembly/breakdown
- Painting containers and around the facility
- Litter/debris cleanup
- General site/yard maintenance
- Operating forklift
- Other assigned laborer duties
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position
- Ability to work/operate safely and adhere to all safety policies
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
- Flexibility to rotate through various tasks as needed
- Clean driving record
