Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour

Position Summary:

As a clamp truck operator, you will be responsible for operating a clamp truck efficiently and safely while providing training and guidance to new and existing employees. Your role is crucial in ensuring all operators are proficient in their skills and adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklift Clamp to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and containers, and stack materials in designated storage areas.
• Provide training to new clamp truck operators on safe and efficient operation techniques, including proper use of equipment.
• Conduct regular training sessions and refresher courses for existing operators to enhance their skills and knowledge. Assess the proficiency of trainees and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their performance.

• Develop training materials, manuals, and procedures to support the training program and ensure consistency across all operators.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
• Problem solving skills to address challenges and suggest improvements.
• Proficiency in a WMS
• Actively engage in all warehouse-related activities to ensure smooth operations including proficiently handling tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, labeling, restocking, offloading, receiving, and inventory control.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator license
• Previous experience in Warehouse Operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
