Job Summary :

This position will assist the Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility to assure that quality nutritional services are provided to meet the necessary needs of our residents.

The Dietary Manger will ensure quality nutritious meals are available to help our residents have the highest quality of life by providing the level of supervision necessary to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident expectations are satisfactory met.

Leading a team of food service employees to maintain the highest standards of food preparation, nutrition, and wellness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plan, organize, and manage food service operations to ensure high nutritional standards.
• Maintain accurate records for purchasing inventory and budget.
• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and ensure adequate staffing.
• Collaborate with Dietitian on policy, procedures, and menus.
• Assist in planning specialty dietary activities.
• Oversee meal preparations, service, and cleanliness.
• Works collaboratively with Management and the facility team members to ensure high quality services are being delivered to our residents.

Qualifications :

• Certified Dietary Manger (CDM) or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in health-related setting, focusing on planning, preparing, and servicing regular and therapeutic diets preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with a high level of quality and productivity.
• Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all the facility policies and procedures. Complies with state and federal regulations and guidelines.

• Attend and participate in department and staff meetings.

Physical Demands :

• This role requires frequent walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling to various locations withing the facility.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
