These services include reference and information services, information literacy instruction, and outreach programs to support student, staff, and faculty excellence in teaching, learning, and research.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates, defines, and leads an innovative information literacy program to support and enhance the College's learning outcomes.
- Manages the library's instruction and reference services.
- Ensures quality and consistency of online resources that support information literacy, including research guides.
- Assesses and evaluates information literacy and reference services and resources.
- Plans and implements relationships and activities that promote library collections and services and contribute to the intellectual climate on campus.
- Cultivates relationships and serves as liaison to other departments and committees on campus to create and participate in initiatives that support student recruitment, academic preparedness, and retention.
- Participates in the data analysis of internal and external statistical reports to improve and document work outcomes and project management.
- Serves as a liaison to academic departments and assesses and develops the collection in those areas.
- Provides reference assistance during assigned days, evening and weekend hours.
- ALA-accredited master's degree in library or information science to be awarded by June 2022
- Demonstrated understanding of the concepts, goals and methods of information literacy instruction.
- Experience in teaching, preference given to teaching undergraduate students.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexibly and creatively in a demanding environment
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of trends and issues in enrollment, support, and retention of college students.
- Experience with outreach and marketing services to students, especially experience with social media marketing
- Familiarity with a liberal arts environment
- Interest and participation in relevant professional organizations
