Washington Importing is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Washington, PA

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport and deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before loading and unloading
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying deliveries
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
