The Certified Central Services Technician (CCST) assists the professional staff in the provision of patient care and High-Level disinfection, decontamination and sterilization of supplies and equipment used in patient care. The position also controls and issues items used for patient care from the Central Supply Department.
Responsibilities:
Successful completion of Non-Certified Central Services Technician program presented by Education Institute within ninety (90) days of hire.
Must complete the certification for Sterile Processing Technician by testing for the program after twelve (12) months in the role and completing the program/certification within six (6) months from starting the program.
Shift: Training for different skill-sets occur on different shifts, therefore the successful bidder will be trained Monday - Friday 5:30am-2pm, 6:30a-3:00p, 9a-5:30p, 10:30am-7pm, 12pm-3pm, 2:30p-11p shifts until competence is established. Once competence is established, the successful bidder will be scheduled 5:30a-2p, 12pm-8:30pm Monday-Friday and Rotating Weekends and Holidays 6:30a-3p.
