Wash Depot Holdings, Inc DBA Sparkling Image Car Wash is seeking an experienced Car Wash Maintenance Technician for its locations in Ventura & Thousand Oaks, California

Sparkling Image Car Wash is one of the nation’s largest full-service car wash companies, operating full-service car washes, detail centers & lube centers under Sparkling Image, Eager Beaver and Sparkling Image Express Oil Change brands.

Position Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will provide preventative & reactive maintenance for 4 full-service, automated conveyor car washes and 2 Gas Station/Convenience stores. This key role is responsible for comprehensive facility maintenance, ensuring optimal daily car wash & gas operations and quality of service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-years of advanced level of breakdown mechanical experience
• Direct experience with 3 phase high voltage AC/DC distribution panels
• Experience repairing Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Plumbing, Electrical, Systems
• Basic computer skills
• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to travel from site to site.
• Ability to use Computer based Work Order Management Software
• Ability to use MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to perform metal fabrication and welding
• Journey level plumbing and 3 phase electrical maintenance experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatics, PLC controllers, commercial car wash equipment & conveyor systems.
• Travel between all stores in the market performing building & equipment repairs and new equipment installs.
• May assist occasionally with work in Bakersfield and San Fernando, CA. Occasional Hotel stays when out of town.
• Full time position 50 hours per week must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize repairs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform all work in outdoors all-weather environment in varying temperatures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, twist, stoop, push, pull, reach above head, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Regularly required to use hands/fingers to operate small tools and equipment.
• Must be able to move full 30- and 55-gallon drums with assistance device.
• Must have the physical ability to respond and move quickly throughout site as needed (i.e. for emergency or problem resolution).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50-75 lbs.
• Must be alert and able to respond to moving vehicles and moving parts (doors, hatches, etc.).
• Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
