- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit
- Help customers choose frames that suit their style and prescription needs
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust frames and lenses to ensure comfort and optimal vision for customers
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services
```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of optical systems, anatomy, physiology, and medical coding
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and fittings
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
- Proficient computer skills for record keeping and order processing
