Are you excited about this Behavioral Specialist job?As a new Behavioral Specialist with our Vantage Point program you can expect each day to be both rewarding and challenging. Your responsibilities may include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating group therapy sessions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals to provide support, guidance, and encouragement as they navigate their behavioral health journeys. Given the nature of this role, your schedule will consist of varied days and variable hours to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Are you a good fit for this Behavioral Specialist job?To excel as a Behavioral Specialist, you will need a strong set of skills and qualifications. We prefer (but not necessary) the candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, as well as relevant experience in behavioral health or mental health settings. In addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you should demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic health record systems is preferred, as you will be responsible for documenting client interactions and treatment plans. The ability to work effectively in a team setting, adapt to changing environments, and think critically to solve problems will be essential for thriving in this role at Wasatch Behavioral Health.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.Salary: $15.62 - $19.79 per hour
