Main Objective:
Millwright/Maintenance Technician builds and maintains hammer and press tooling while also performing machine maintenance and repairs as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, gauge/fixture movement, blueprint reading, (welding and fabrication) operation of machine tools used to make, modify and/or repair machine components. Experienced in maintaining and repairing presses, CNC Machines, automated equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge a must. Must be able to diagnose repairs, order or machine parts needed to complete the repairs.
• Workers in this occupation must follow safety precautions, use lockout tagout, and use protective equipment, such as hardhats, safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protectors. Most work is in our manufacturing facilities during normal working ours.

Education and Experience:
The candidate must have knowledge of machines such as 100 ton presses, forge drop hammers, large steel heating furnaces, induction heat treat equipment, air compressors, forklifts, tool room machinery, and standard shop equipment. Tools used by these technicians include welders, lathes, mills, pipe threaders, electrical meters, and traditional hand tools.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
