Position Title:
Receptionist / AP Clerk
Department:
Administration
Reports To:
Office Manager / Accountant
Overall Responsibility:
To ensure the proper preparation and maintenance of Company records and documents
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
¨ To interface with Company accountants and/or controller
¨ To enter and code financial transactions appropriately
¨ Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
¨ Validate invoices against items or services received
¨ Other duties as assigned
Skills and Attributes:
¨ Interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
¨ Computer proficiency in word processing, accounting, QuickBooks and data base software
¨ Typing skills of 50 words, or better per minute
¨ Ability to operate office equipment systems
¨ Good composition skills
¨ Wear clean, neat business-like attire
¨ Possess good personal hygiene habits
¨ Possess excellent telephone presence
¨ Ability to hold privileged communications and information confidential
¨ Ability to learn and use “internet” features

Excel
Education Requirement:
High School graduate level Math and English skills
