Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each property
- Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments to eliminate pests safely and effectively
- Install and maintain pest control equipment, such as traps and baits
- Provide recommendations to property owners on preventive measures to minimize future pest issues
- Document all services provided and maintain accurate records of pest control activities

Experience:
- Will need to get your pesticide applicators certification within 60 days
- Familiarity with farm machinery, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in pest control
- Knowledge of common pests, their behavior, and effective treatment methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in order to develop effective pest control strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide clear instructions on preventive measures
- Sales experience is a plus, as there may be opportunities to upsell additional services such as lawn care

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
